Can I afford to start a small business?

5/16/2010

MC Design & Services was founded almost a year ago with the idea that in this tough economy, people are losing their jobs and having their incomes reduced.  I knew I had the experiences and resources to help.  We Americans are resiliant in times like these.  And we always bounce back.  But, it is hard with a website now being necessary to starting up a business, and many people think they just can't afford it.  Then there are the costs of setting up shop.  Doing these things virtually can save alot of money, and when you have someone with experience with all these tools doing it for you, it saves you time.

Not sure if you can afford to start a small business?
We can help and you can afford it!  We offer affordable prices on our services, the best priced online resources to setup and run a home or small business office (see our Business Builder) and our dedication to help you succeed.
We have years of experience helping businesses with online solutions both in the corporate world and for online startups.

Email us and tell us your needs, we will let you know how we can help.

What is a Virtual Assistant and Why Should I Have One?

5/5/2010

A Virtual Assistant is someone who works remotely, usually from their home, and does Internet based work for small businesses.
This could include data entry, accounting, emails, website maintenance, facebook/twitter/LinkedIn updates, etc.
It can also include any technical things you need done to help get the word out about your business or just to run the day to day tasks to keep your small business up (you can even have her answer your phone line - Mother Cupboards Small Businesses can help).

Virtual Assistants get you bang for your buck.  They usually work for lower wages than an employee in-house as you are not paying for their insurance or any over-head costs (you must pay for your company's expenses, however)  You can determine the amount of hours you have budget to pay for and only have your Virtual Assistant work those hours for you.

Virtual Assistants save you time and money!

Mother Cupboards can help you find a Virtual Assistant that fits your needs and train the Assistant for the tasks needed.
We charge a one time $20.00 fee for fitting and training a Virtual Assistant to your business.
